Techcelerate pioneered the development of an ecosystem for tech entrepreneurs and their businesses in 2006. In 2011, it started accelerating the ecosystem development by establishing Tech Centre Manchester with Bruntwood. This workshop brings key figures from Greater Manchester to explore how disparate efforts can come together to turn Manchester and the North West into the first choice international destination for setting up and growing Internet and Mobile Tech businesses.

Chief Guest: Iain Gray, CEO of Technology Strategy Board (TSB)

Iain Gray joined the Technology Strategy Board as Chief Executive in 2007, following its establishment as an executive non-departmental public body. Prior to joining TSB, Iain was Managing Director and General Manager of Airbus UK. As Chief Executive of the Technology Strategy Board, Iain is the operational head of the new organisation as it assumes its leading role in driving the UK's technology and innovation strategy.

2. Understand initiatives already in place to increase innovation, especially in creative, digital, media and tech.
3. Explain the remit of Techcelerate and Tech Centre Manchester to leaders
4. Establish a framework for collaboration, perhaps under the stewardship of Technology Strategy Board
