Jobs Search Engine Adzuna expands into Brazil, South Africa, Australia and Canada

Adzuna, the venture-backed next generation job search engine, launches publicly in Brasil, South Africa, Australia and Canada today with the aim to transform the way global job seekers find work. With over 1.5 million monthly visitors, the London based startup has gained significant traction in the UK with its social job hunting tools, real time labour market data and powerful search. Adzuna now aims to take its technology and free, open data to the international market.

With over 1m live job vacancies across the Adzuna internationally, the site collates the latest job ads in real-time from all major job boards. Adzuna also includes a compelling social layer which allows users to gain an unfair advantage in the job search process by using their Facebook and LinkedIn contacts.

Alongside the launch of the news sites, Adzuna, which currently powers the British Prime Minister’s “Number 10 Dashboard”, is offering to build free data dashboard apps for the leaders of all these new markets, in an effort to help governments across the globe with better decision making around the economy. The dashboards will include local vacancy counts, average salaries, unemployment data, regional hiring patterns and much more.

Andrew Hunter, Co-Founder of Adzuna, commented “We’re delighted to announce the launch of these new sites and we’re excited to build on our UK success. We believe jobseekers in these countries are underserved by the tools currently available in the market. Our aim is to arm job seekers around the world with all the information they need to find their perfect job.”
